7.62 X 39 ammo

Last case i bought was $179 and that wasn't to long ago! Frontier Firearms sold out of there full cases last night. Wolverine seems to be around $250 for a case shipped.buy 10+ and its $10 cheaper a case. Even though your not aloud 10 cases lol. I think $279.95 is to much still. It works out to about $340 or so!!! I hope this thread doesn't make all the prices go up.......shame on you SIR!!!!:( Going to epps today to get some

$199 at epps for 1120 rounds. Don't be fooled:)

If you feel the price is too high, don't buy it. The time for prices matching across the border is now. With the dollar at parity & free trade, we should expect prices here to be the same as pricing in the US. As consumers, that is what we should see.

we should, it would be nice.

prices should -drop- in Canada.

Im so tired of paying more for stuff in Canada than in the USA even though our dollar is now technically worth MORE.

with all the fighting breaking out in north africa and the middle east this surplus is high demand buy what you can while you can folks, as there are others in the world who not only want it they NEED it, and it just so happens the only guns they have are the ones that shoot this stuff.

$279.95 + shipping & taxes

Is this some kind of a joke or are you the only store trying to out of business. Thankyou for being in Screwed up ontario hopefully the ret-ardation won't spread to the good ol' west. A little harsh. no just tired of sneeky little fu[kers putting their hands in other peoples wallets.:puke:

I paid $199.00 last month at Al's in Hamilton. They had plenty of it, and i inquired about supply/demand, and they said they had plenty. I did this to save on the shipping. Could only imagine what that works out to!

They are not out of line at all. The dealer price on this ammo is not getting cheaper. The 308 surplus went the exact same road. At one time it was $300 per 1000 rounds of 308, then $640.00 per 1260 then boom, it disapeared all together. If you dont think it can happen to the Czech surplus ammo, stick around for a bit and see what will happen.

Go back a little further & same thing happened with 303 Brit! History will repeat itself unfortunately. Stack it high & dry boys! :D

Fcuk that. I'll keep what I have but buy no more. Cost is pushing me out. When Marstar gets the Tok ammo I'll get it and be done with any more purchases of surplus ammunition.

Many dealers will price themselves out of business; well, my business at least. Americans have it better at one third the cost. They buy surplus at surplus prices and we buy surplus at inflated prices. I will buy components and reload. I'm getting out of surplus firearms and their ammunition.

Is this ammo fairly moisture proof in it's original packaging? For example, is a dry finished basement going to cause any long term corrosion?

Should be fine. The crates are sealed metal tins, and the loose stuff is now packed in sealed plastic bags of 10rds each/1 stripper clip(from what I've seen and received anyways).
