Hello guys, I just have one question for you all. Where is the best place to purchase 7.62 x 39 hollow point ammo online? Also any other information partaining to that type of ammunition is welcome.

I may be wrong, but I dont think you can. At least I am not aware of it.

I am pretty sure that you can, you can also get soft point ammo but I just dont know where. Then again maybe your right.

I've yet to see 7.62x39 hollow points (online, IRL, or otherwise), soft-points are available, but you need to know the stores to hit-up.

Soft point is indeed acceptible, and I would really like to get my hands on some if any body knows where I can get some it would be very hepfull thank you.

The only 7.62x39 hollowpoints I know of are not allowed for import(Wolf).

Just was on the sfrc website and they sell soft point 7.62x39 ammo in boxes of 20 check it out

I have some wolf hollow point and some Russian Military hollow point, only two boxes of each. I also bought some x39 tracer before it was pulled by NRCAN. I don't think you can buy any of these anymore because they are no longer approved for import by NRCAN.

PRVI Partisan makes soft point 7.62x39. Shoots pretty nice.

I belive that Barnes Bullet Company produces tripple shock for the x39 round & this would be the closest you are going to get to the hollow point. Actually they would probally work better & if you want to pick some up I believe Russel's sells them.

I've got a couple crates left. It's super stuff, Non-corrosive.

There's lots of SP/HP x39 out there. It's just finding it that's sometimes tricky. When you do, buy it up.. they're like savings bonds.

I also have;

2 crates of 123gr Corbon DPX Hunter
1 crate of 125gr Corbon JHP
1.5 crate 123gr Sellier & Bellot PTS (plastic tip special) ..awesome stuff

The S&B PTS stuff will shoot 1.5" at 100m in my 858! Not bad for a semi that's been abused. The Corbon is well, Corbon... love em. The DPX rounds are topped with Barnes Triple-Shock X-Bullets & are devastating on yotes. I'm going to be playing tag with deer with these rounds shortly.

Tracers are no longer allowed??? Good thing I got that case from Lever arms!

lots of the local shops stock Sellier and Bellot 7.62x39 soft point....

Tracer's are not prohibited they are just not approved by NRCAN for import anymore, any tracer's you have can be legally fired.

I use the PRIVI or whatever it is called. 123 grain soft point. Shot a 4x4 whitetail buck tonight with it in my cz858 at about 90 yards. Both shots were complete pass throughs. One shot went through both shoulders and exited with excellent expansion (at the expense of bloodshot meat). Fantastic performance. Will be buying more of this stuff.

I already ordered a couple boxes of prvi soft point and a crate of czech surplus, one for range one for the hunt. Thanks alot for the info guys. Ordered a cz 858 a couple days ago, I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.

I just wish my loads printed closer to the Milsurp. There is over a foot of adjustment required at 100y. I'm hoping I'll be able to use the 200 or 300 y setting to shoot milsurp at 100, instead of adjust the front site again. That good ammo is just too much $$$ to always be re-zeroing.
