Hey Ryan have you ever seen this stuff in Canada ?

This is true military .308 / 7.62x51mm Nato spec. 147gr. FMJ ammo. It is headstamped WCC 06 with the NATO cross. It is bras cased, boxer primed and non-corrosive. It has an annealed case mouth and a crimped primer. It comes in a Winchetser white box that is labeled 7.62. The winchester item number is Q3130. This is winchesters military grade ammo, NOT there commercial ammo. It comes packed in 20rd boxes, 200rds. per case.

J&G Sales has it listed if you need more details, but they are a US vendor.

I see their surplus .308 at $0.40 a round.

It would be nice to have up here , no doubt it is on the NRC list of 'no go' for import , you would think if millions of rounds have been sold/fired in the US , without incident , it would be given the green light for import without a battery of 'tests'

If this stuff is importable the ' puritans ' that own 308's won't dare run this stuff in their rifles for fear of creating a supernova, thus leaving more for me to buy:stirthepot2:

The ammo pictured is $750 per 1000

DoS wasn't issuing export permits for "military" ammo last I heard.

I have seen LOTS of 308 Win ammo in 147Gr. hmmmm. Like the PMC stuff, which I really like (also says 7.62 on the box in small letters, the 308 is in big letters). This stuff comes from Korea I think. Would be nice to get some more.

If it has the NATO "cross" on it--(the NATO interchangeability /safety marking), shouldn't it already be "safe" to come to Kanada?

My God, If there was a war and our allies sent us ammo to help us, we'd need NRCAN to go thru the 2 year process first!

Hey, since the South African stuff isn't going to happen anymore (thanks Wendy!), how about getting some of that Portugese surplus 7.62?
