I might be able to get 10-20 cases of 7.62x25 in. It is the Czech stuff, 2280 rds in a case. Would $295 be a reasonable price for it?

It will be $295 plus shipping from the looks of it if everything goes according to plan. I think that would make it the cheapest 7.62x25 around at the moment.
 
I've seen them go for as low as $199 per crate. $295 is not the cheapest price around, though you could be the only one who has TT ammo stocked at that price, $295 is certainly not the cheapest around.
 
I don't think there is any of the other at the old price of $225 or $199. As far as I know this is from a new shipment thus new prices. Anyway it gives me an idea of whats out there.
 
If he's the only guy who actually HAS the ammo, it doesn't matter if the other guys list a price of $5, they don't have any. I'd bet you could sell a lot more than 20 cases at that price. Of course, don't let me go spending your money :p
 
Thats the plan, offer full cases and 1/2 cases. I'll know next week if it is coming in.

All the 7.62x25 ammo is apparently too hot for the Tokarev. It is the same round as was used in the PPsH-41 and 43. After the 122mm rocket ammo thing, I doubt anyone in the Soviet Union made that mistake again.

I've fired mine with 3 different lots and manufacturers. There is always a big flame out the front.

I've stopped firing it at the indoor range when other people are trying to shoot accurately.

The flash, flame following the bullet 15 yards down the range, immense noise and casings thrown across the firing area is, in my opinion, distracting.

Isn't it a steel core to boot? That can't be good for the back stop.

what's the "the 122mm rocket ammo thing"
 
A few years ago there was a fellow on CGN that did a torture test with a TT33. Can't recall if it was a Norinco or Soviet made one. Anyways, he put nearly two cases (I think around 3000rds he did) and had no problems. Try a search for that. I believe he was using the Czech surplus.

You are correct,Czech loads are usually hotter than bulgarian,russian,romanian ammo.

From what you were told???:i dont know who told you that piece of jewel but obviously he or she hasnt shot 7.62x25 in their thousands,i have.

I have shot more 7.62x25 thank any other caliber and that includes .22lr.
It is the other way around,the CZ-52 should never be fired with Czech ammo because the ammo will eventually either destroy the pistol or/and you could get serious injurry.
I have already destroy one of my CZ-52 and keep the other in the safe till i can find some more norinco ammo or commercial loads available.

I WILL NOT SHOOT SURPLUS CZECH AMMO IN MY CZ-52,TOO DANGEROUS.

I have shot over 5 cases of 2200 rounds in my 3 tokarevs and i can tell you that they love this stuff.Never had an accident with it,never broken a tt-33 cause of the hot loads.These tt-33(russian, Tula) are built like tanks,i have yet to see one of mine fail and i will keep firing them until i ran out of surplus 7.62x25 which i wont let happen:wave:


Edit: i just counted all my empty surplus cases and in total,lifetime i'm up to 7 cases of tok ammo and thats in the last 2½ years!
