7.62x25 recoil

about 45 acp in my opinion, more than 9 def. especially the surplus ammo its pretty hot, awesome fun cheap gun and ammo though

Out of all the high end hand guns that come out on the range, I always get a crowd of people wondering what the @#$%# I'm shooting...

Nasty bark and a huge fireball..... I love it...

No sense putting up a target though.... couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside....

Not my experience. Mine will shoot 8rnd in 2 1/2"@25yds resting on the bench. No, not exaggerating, its closer to 2", but in the interest of honesty... Snappy recoil, but easy to control because of the small grip. Reloads are a pain because the small grip means your palm blocks the mag from dropping free.

Doing also similar results with my 2 little Tok! nice recoil for the price (average of 170$)...this gun is built like a tank! You should buy 2-3 of those...just in case!

It's snappy, like 9mm out of a glock. Not particularly heavy... Very distinct ZZZZZZZIIINGGGGG when you shoot. The CanAm pistol got some mixed reviews... Is it better now? I've no complaints about my Tokarevs!

I would think it would fit your requirements on your project Gatehouse.

I wasn't Blaming the gun ;)

Toks are a good fit for smaller hands I believe. Sharp recoil but not unmanageable. Had my nephew, his girl, my daughter and my son's girl all shooting with now complaints. All 19 to 23, boys with medium sized hands and girls with small hands and one with longer fingers. They had a blast. Mines a Polish and the only issue I had was with the ammo that was older than the pistol. New ammo in stock is 70-80's era that should be smoother than the 1952 stuff I have. Ya gotta have one. But then more people to buy the ammo so no, don't buy one.

$170 of fun fun fun, limit how much ammo you bring with you or you will shoot it ALL!!!! loud, fast and fun. mine are not to accurate either {probably the operator in my case} but they both actually have a nice crisp trigger, take 15 seconds to take apart and create a bunch of attention with sparks, fire and volume, what more could a guy {or gal} want??? everyone needs a few tokarevs and sks's

Fun gun, but the ammo seems to be drying up (surplus anyways) so depending on that...

Hmm, another strike against it :)

We go through cases and cases of ammo with my shooting business. Most of the shooting is done with 22LR, 223, 9mm, 45ACP, 7.62x39 and 12 guage, which I can buy in volume for good prices. :)

Anyways, I was hoping for something inbetween 22LR and 9mm with regards to recoil, that also has cases of ammo for sale for good price per shot.

Norinco makes new non-corrosive 7.62x25, it's not as cheap as corrosive surplus, but it's still cheaper than 9mm.
