Does anyone have experience with these?

They are a pain to use in any thing other then a break action gun. Even in a break action gun there can be issues. Its a good idea in theory less so in practise.

Yeah they make 303 Brit to 32 and 7.62x25, then 762x54R in 7.62x25. From what I read the "x25 is very hard esp steel case to remove from the adapter.

I use a7.62x25 adaptor in my savage 30-06. Accuracy is horrible(8moa) and depending on the milsurp I use it can be a pain to get the spent shell out of the adaptor, usually a light tap with a dowel gets it out easy. Only reason to use would be to practice your trigger pull and, with the price of 22 these days, just to plink. It's a lot cheaper than the 30-06.

Well since its been stated if your using surplus ammo in your adapter the bullet diameter is .002" too big for your .308 diameter 30'06 barrel, could be whats giving you poor accuracy.

I had a .32 ACP adapter in my 30-30 and it was accurte enough to hit chickens in the head at 50 ft...........Harold

Well, it's possible that before I decided to use an explosion to send a piece of steel down the inside of another piece of steel,I might have measured said small piece of steel to make sure it'd fit, and most of the milsurp I've measured has measured 0.308-0.309.
I would think the accuracy is more from the fact that it's milsurp, and that the bullet travels over an inch before it encounters any rifling, which probably imparts something weird to the spin. Just a guess though.
Most accurate results were from old Czech stuff from the 50's, but they must be hotter as it's a lot more difficult to knock the spent cartridge out when you're done.

I love this one. As if 2 thousands of a inch would really matter that much anyways. There's probably that much difference in most different bullets any ways. I would like to find adapters like this also shooting a pistol round in a rifle would give a guy something else to shoot with out buying a new rifle. I have old Parker Hale inserts to shoot 410 out of 12 gauge that work well.
