i was sorting through some brass and found some 7.62x25mm and got to thinking. I decided I was going to make a dummy round with a 150gr 308 round for a cool looking round and because sorting brass is boring!

once i made the round i realized it's got the same base as a 9mm, so some resizing, 3.3gr of tight group and a primer i made this!

i will be firing it off later on in the week, and for those safety nazi's this will be plenty safe as it cannot build pressure due to the well undersized bullet. i've necked a 500mag down to 45 and shot it several times, it's actually able to get 6" groups at 5 yards lol.

Yes! Look at that little fat boy.

I want to see how it shoots, and then you will need to find everyone who says .300 Blackout is a useless underpowered cartridge and send them a link to this page.

lol, it sure does look like a .300 blackout, i should have put a 9mm next to it for comparison.

they worked! well, sort of. i shot them at silverdale and they made a nice bang, low recoil, didn't cycle the action, but now i have fire formed brass for shot shells :) making up another 25 rounds as well speak, well as i speak.
