Just picked up a bunch of 7.62x25 S&B with the intent of reloading the brass when I shoot it off. Just wondering if anyone knows of a source for bullets? Preferably cheap but I'd also like to know of other types as well just because I like to play with things that are shiny. :D

Thanks guys. Just had a thought...does anyone think the 123gr z-max bullets for 7.62x39 would work or would they be too heavy? They have tons of them in town and I was eyeballing them this afternoon thinking about how 'easy' that would be. :D

"...110gr M1 bullets..." Too small. The 7.62 x 25 uses .311" bullets, not .308" bullets. Hornady makes 60, 85 and 100 grain .312" jacketed bullets. And .314" cast bullets. .32 calibre though.
"...Preferably cheap..." No such thing when it comes to odd cartridges.

I've bought hornady 7.63x25 (30 mauser) bullets from both trade-ex (90gr xtp and 86gr sprn) and henry's (86 gr sprn). I developed a load for the broomhandle but it works in the tokarev just as well.

sunray, you are just not helping here bro :( slug the barrel - that would give you a definite answer for your particular tokarev.

Spawn, where'd you get a 7.62x25 barrel for your glock? o_O

I disagree with your dimensions.

I have a number of pistols in 7.62x25 (Polish, Russian and American). Bores run 0.308" to 0.309". My cast bullets (96 gr SWC) are 0.309" and they work well in all the guns, as do Berry's plated 110g M1 Carbine bullets I bought from Budget.

For hyper velocity loads I use the Hornday XTP, which are 0.309".
