7.62x39 ammo on sale!

This is a situation of buy as much as you can when it lists as .17c a piece. I looked at their ammo finder page. The next cheapest is .65c a round for steel case hollow points.

A few cents more? Try nearly four times more. (See my post on page 2 for the math.)

Maybe at cabelas, I was paying 17 cents for non corrosive norinco a couple years ago from can am

A P.O.S SKS is the last of my worries. My X39 collection is worth way too much money to use corrosive crap. I really dont care about spending a few cents more per round and getting ammo I dont have to worry about.

I have better things to do in my life than wasting time cleaning guns because I used them once. It's bad enough I got to clean the SVT-40 every freaking time and that whore is a PITA to strip. I cant hardly wait for CanAm to get some Non Corrosive 54R :)

Found it for you! canadaammo.com/product/detail/norinco-copper-washed-7-62x39-ammunition-crate-of-1200

I never understood that debate... Shoot whatever ammo you like to shoot with your rifles and let others do the same with theirs.

I get more fun out of a 250$ crate of corrosive ammo than a 400$ crate of non-corrosive ammo. And its doesnt add value on EE by the way. "Only ever shot non-corrosive" well 1000 rounds corrosive or not is a 1000 rounds. Its just like the "highway milage vs. City milage".... 1000kms is a 1000kms on the odometer.

I shoot both type in differents guns and dont mind the extra step with corrosive ammo.

Off to the gravel, to shoot corrosive ammo out of an sks :p

Dilly be trollin!

Enters thread to complain, then insult and then chastize.

Hook line and sinker, you guys got played.

Went yesterday to Barrie location, bought 3 crates. They had half a skid left on the floor. Unsure of how much is in the back.

Also got told that my XCR-L pistol mag using SKS is illegal and i should only put 5 rounds in it by a worker there....Sigh...Bragging how they low ball people trying to sell them SKS, offering $50 bucks, buying it from the store for $60, putting bunch of "tacticool" crap on and selling it for $600...yea that guy was a real piece of work.

I know this much, if ammo ever becomes very hard to source I won't be upset that I have a couple cases of "corrosive" rounds in the safe. Now will I run it everyday, prob not, but nonetheless good stuff to have around.

Just got the brochure from Cabela's today. 90$ off on surplus 7.62x39 crate of 1500 rounds - 123 FMJ ------ >$259.99 (reg. $349.99)

.... Do I really need a 3rd crate??? why not!

I had a $20 off bounceback coupon and got mine for $239 plus tax. Worked out to just under 18 cents per round after taxes!

I already hada stack, but who could say no at that price??!?! :p

And then what? No....there is no new ammo tax on the horizon. No need to start a US style ammo buying spree.

That's funny they have a whole section on ammunition....... the header is disarmament.... draw your own conclusions

My coupon says the same. Wonder if this item 1500rds PRC will stay on sale till cleared. If so $20 off will make it a excellent buy for crate#2

Yup I'm happy with a couple spare crates too
