7.62x39 Ammo prices will go up again.

Says the guy who said SKS prices will be jacking up when they've remained the same, and gone lower since?

We've heard enough of your bullcrap.

They have gone up from but not as much as we thought and not as fast as we thought. The sks is going up and they keep getting ####tier as time goes on and that is a fact that can not be disputed. The grade A sks rifles are now 300$-400$ And the ####ty looking rifles are 250 to 275$ in Saskatchewan.

The ammo crates were 200$ for a long time here in sask ! Now it's 350 a370$ that insane and sadly just the beginning of the price increases.

The fact is it's all going up 400$ now 450$ next year 500 - 600$ 2-4 years from now for Effin 7.62x39 😆

i suggest y'all reload for a better cartridge rather than pay 400$ for 7.62x39 that you probably won't shoot or can't shoot well lol

For those that say its not .....it is ...i bought my first sks in 2014 for 188$ can't be had for that price anywhere and believe me i look

We all have those stories: I paid $400.00 for a No5 carbine years ago that the "those that specialize in them" say is an end of war parts conglomeration build with a matching bayonet. Last gun show I was at a No5 with matching marked bayo was $1500.00.

At some point those thing go up because the supply of "not new" ones is limited. Only so many were made (no matter how many that was), only so many survived, only so many stored in great shape, only so many were not Bubba'd... the list goes on.

Get'em while they're hot and reasonable. It won't last. Period. It is not if, certainly not if, but when. Maybe Al doesn't get his dates right, but it will happen.

Just a scare tactic. I can still get sks's for just over $230 and 7.62x39 isn't skyrocketing anytime soon. To those people freaking out saying they have gone up in price over the last 4 years, of course they have everything had gone up over the last 4 years!

I know where you can buy crates in Winnipeg for $240 taxes in. $350 is too much!

That's a reasonable price :) I'd say go buy a couple.

My local gun shop had them on for 279$ - crates 1400 rounds but then someone told them everyone else was selling for 350$ and now that local shop is selling for 379$ wtf! Some stores are probably keeping prices at what they had them priced at originally and then the next shipment will be adjusted accordingly.

"Mr. dealer why you increase the price?
Because I can!!! Do you have a problem?
Yes, I have.
Do you have a choice?
No!!!
Suck it up kid!!!"
This is how it works in 150 years old Canada.

For those who is looking for cheap ammo please go and buy it. Overseas sellers just raised their prices by 15 %. You might not see price increase now but you will see it in a month.

So if west rifle is lying should they not be punished by cgn? But I don't think they are lying you d bags

You tell me that 350$ for a crate is not up from 299 ? Now let's give west rifle the prophet test - if what he says comes to pass you are all d bags and he is right ! If it does not happen then he is false and should be stoned lol

Sks rifles have gone up just not as much as we thought. Though some "grade A" rifles are apparently 400$ so that is kinda up isn't it ?

Whatever. By person with a brain knows that stuff goes up not down. Over in the middle East there shooting the same cal at eachother and you dont thing the civy supply will dry up. Get real. BUY IT CHEEP AND STACK IT DEEP

seems like trying to create a scare to start a hoarding impulse buys to drive up sales,to be fair, this is not the only dealer trying this approach,no problem getting cheap SKS and ammo in eastern Ontario,at least in the Ottawa area,

Naa, we hoard anyways!!;) the price of the ammo and firearms ( except for the odd collector) will be determined by market and competing rifle systems! For the average shooter the attraction to the sks is cheap ammo/ cheap gun, or should I say inexpensive. When the price rises close to even with other similar firearms and ammo, the demand will drop till some equilibrium is met!
A brand new S&W AR15 can be had now for $700. The ammo is around $.45 - $.50 a round and is reloadable.
The sks isn't restricted, yet, so has that going for it!
How many folks here would still buy the sks if say a nice blued copy was $500 and ammo was $450./1200 steel cased. Or would you get the $700. AR15 and ammo @ $500./1000 brass cased?

Here Tenda at $369.99 , so the price is the same or just a bit up?
No offence to Tentda intended. Just showing all match serial prices .
Point proved. Are you ready to apologize yet?? Conscript to that.

Another well known site sponsor is advertising "some of the nicest ones we have seen through our doors" for only $249.99

that being said, even the all matching "super grades" at cnd tire have gone up about $100 since last year this time.

Sks prices have gone up and the quality of what you can buy in the store has plummeted. So he's kinda right, since 2003 ammo price has tripled so it's really just a generalized statement. I'm sure it's not going to double in a year but I'm certain it's going up and will continue to increase

Guys I put a thread out there to warn you. First of all I am importer and I see prices what is offered to me and other dealers in Canada. If I want to prove someone wrong I would do it in a few hours. Pick out any 3 dealers out there and I will call them and get their statement that sks prices went up and Ammo went up.
Please non believer of sks prices went up post three dealers.

Al

In the last couple of years the overall quality of SKS's has dropped, no denying that. The price has gone up ~10-20%, sure, but our dollar's value is down over 20%.

A case of non-corrosive was ~$300 a couple of years ago. It's gone up about 20-25%. See above about the dollar.

So in conclusion, blame the Canadian Rupee for the higher prices.
