Is it my imagination or is the 7.62x39 ammo getting harder to find. I see that LeBarons doesn't carry any and I have not seen reasonably priced non-corrosive ammo out there. Winchester makes a white box .223 do they make a white box 7.62x39? I am starting to get a little apprehensive here!

+1 7.62 x 39, 7.62 x54R, 5.56, 7.62 x51 - you have to buy in case lots when its readily available

They list 7.62X39 UMC at wholesale sports online catalogue, they have to stock it in order for them to list it.

Was in Lever Arms a couple of weeks ago. They have a container in transit, but there are problems with container size and routing. It will get here but likely more expensive than before.
If you don't get this already buy as much as you can when its cheap. I still have some 8mm bought years ago when it was about $60 for a crate of 800. Try finding any now!

It seems a new shipment of 7.62x39 comes in about twice a year. I suggest you buy at least one case each shipment because it always sells out before the next shipment arrives. All things considered, the corrosive ammo is still great value.
maybe i'm just lucky.... but i've had no issues locating cases lots when i need them.
U.S. commercial 7.62x39 is now a thing of the past as it is BANNED for export out of the u.s. So that means good bye to remington, federal, american eagle, winchester...... ect. (only in the popular military cartridges though)
BUT we still have privi partizan, sellier &belliot and I beleive Igman as far as non surplus ammo goes...... and for hunting purposes I've found the Privi and Igman to be superb
