7.62x39 AR magazine issues

I have recently purchased a PWS 7.62x39 AR. It is fun as hell to shoot but I am having magazine issues. The ASC 30/5 magazine it came with runs flawlessly (although it was pinned to 4 rounds for some strange reason) and I have ordered more from irunguns. The ASC 10 round XCR pistol magazines I bought are causing feeding issues. It looks like there is a 2mm difference on the front lip of the magazine.

Has anyone had this issue before or know how to fix the problem? I am considering taking a dremel to the front lip so that the pistol magazines match the rifle ones. But if it is something else then I would like to know.

Yes very inconsistent mags , get the Dremel out and clearance them properly. Youtube has some good videos , search 7.62x39 mag problems on Youtube.

The other one you can take it apart and clearance the bottom of the follower so you can fit 5 rounds or move the rivet a bit.

So removing about 3mm from the front lip of the XCR pistol magazines fixed the problem. They now run flawlessly.
