7.62x39 Brass

Using SB in 3006 an havnt noticed any primer pocket issues, some loaded a few times now?
Older batches for sure. Black box gold writing

When T&R was in business, I commonly ended up with buckets of it in trade for other calibers. I ended up resizing it to 6.5x39 (6.5 Grendel w LRP) I found the PPU & S&B to be the better brass.

While I've used most of the usual European cases (S&B Geco etc) I've been having great luck with the small primer Winchester brass. These are my go to cases now.

If it helps I have 5+ 20rd boxes of nice PPU ammunition from the 1990s. Brass is beautiful . The only reason I didn't shot them is that some brainwave at the factory loaded 123gr soft point round nose projectiles which is fine for a bolt gun but remarkably useless in most semi autos as they will not feed well if recall

I realize 100rds plus is not much but at 15 for a 20rd box, I don't believe in taking the last cent either (comes from improper toilet training as small children ))
