7.62x39 Brass

Do any companies actually sell brass rounds for this round? All the stuff I seem to come across is either steel or nickel (not sure what is underneath). I would like to get some nice brass casings.

Supposedly Winchester loads rounds but haven't been able to find any in my shops.

Sellier and Bellot are the most common brass cased stuff I find. There is also Norma here and there.

Watch out for copper washed steel cases though. They look sort of like dirty brass but are actually steel. Still berdan primed so it's not too hard to tell.

Federal American Eagle FMJ is brass cased, it's about a buck a round.

It's pretty accurate too.

Partizan produces Boxer primed, brass cased, Soft point ammo as well.

Partizan also sells bulk brass (Boxer primed).

Five years ago I got some IMI brass. made in Israel.

it's quite the challenge to find sometimes, but brass ammo is the best bet
