7.62x39 Chezch Milsurp Corrosive issues?

I use boiling water for the barrel but for the rest, ie: receiver, bolt carrier group and piston I just zap it with brake cleaner then clean and oil as per usual. Reason being is I don't want water to get in where I can't get it out like in the bolt or in the trigger mech. Brake cleaner will flush out the salts and then evaporate. Too easy.

I find that "black powder residue remover" works wonders, even if you wait till you get home.(some guys spray it down right away at the range) Complete disassembly and cleaning of all parts that make contact with the gas then proper lubing of internals, a thing coat of oil on the metal helps keep any surface rust away.
