7.62x39 Chromed Bolt

Hey?
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a chrome ar15 bolt in 7.62x39? Or can anyone tell me if the ones they have at Questar will work without a great deal of fitting?

If you are talking about the LMT bolt that Questars sells for 7.62X39 it will work. No "fitting" . This bolt is far far better than std AR bolts, which is why its so expensive ( electroless nickle plating, lobster tail extractor, modified lugs etc ). Lots of 7.62X39 bolts are 5.56 bolts opened up with different extractor .

Only "fitting" you hear about for 7.62X39 ARs is not for headspace etc, but rather to cure the light primer strike issues with some eastern block ammo. It easier to modify firing pin or heavier trigger springs than mess with tail of bolt to incease firing pin extention

I wish I could find an 11.5" carbine length barrel that was chrome lined. Any thoughts about that? I've looked around and it seems like they don't exist.
