i bought some check ammo and its headstamped bxn 73 and looks with a green case and copper bullet, like everyone i know has, but i also have some thats more like greeny silver all round even the bullet and is bxn 71 is that just differnt years of production? seemed more smokey when we were shooting it today.:confused:

What's even funnier, is he admitted to his mistake without an edit...you could have easily just not posted this and started a new one. :p

And the really pickle is if you can manage to get some brass cased stuff. Then you've got something a little more exciting there! Almost all the 39 mil out there these days is steel cased copper washed bullets. In fact, I have two strips staring at me on my desk as I type this, which I picked up yesterday in preparation for my 858 coming tomorrow!
