not quite.... about 9 cents more than corrosive, which ends up being about $300+ more over corrosive for this pack. Still a great offer on this ammo though.
 
Luke S -> this is 3600 rounds of non corrosive ammo shipped to your door for $800+tax. If this costs $300 more than the corrosive stuff please tell me where you can purchase 3600 rounds of corrosive S&B for $500?
 
lebaron toronto..... 1400 corrosive for $194+tax=$219 cheapest price I found

$800+tax=$904...... well you get the picture, but obviously if you had to have it shipped it would be much more

CanAm has a great deal on the non-corrosive, but personally I would rather clean my gun and have extra case and half to shoot.... but cleaning takes time and time is money so I can see how this will sell out really fast

Am I the only one that sees that he said it is corrosive? All the posts seem to think he said it is Non-Corrosive. His post says corrosive. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
 
Ok, it's 25.11 cents per round for this deal (including tax) to Ontario and 15.64 cents per round from LeBaron's in Toronto (including tax). Personally, if I still had a VZ58, I'd be quite willing to pay the extra 10 cents just to not have to clean the gun after every trip. I can only imagine how much more fun it'd have been to shoot a whole case over the span of a year before cleaning.
 
For guys in Atlantic Canada who have to pay shipping from other suppliers for the corrosive stuff, this deal is fantastic. You end up with more rounds and non-corrosive to boot for the same price as you'd pay for non-corrosive!

Just to re-iterate this in case anyone is confused:

What CanAm is selling here is NON-CORROSIVE Norinco ammunition; copper-washed steel cases and projectiles. NON-CORROSIVE is in this CanAm "buy 2 get 3" deal.

What most guys have seen is the green lacquer-coated steel cases and copper-washed steel projectiles, made by Sellier and Bellot, from the old Eastern Bloc stockpiles, and that stuff is CORROSIVE.

Also, it appears this Norinco ammunition is not on stripper clips - as opposed to the S&B which generally is on 10-round strippers.

I'd bet good money that there are dozens and dozens of these stripper clips in the garbage at your local range though... or if you know anyone who's got a case of S&B, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that they'd save the clips for you...

This is a phenomenal deal, and I'd be all over it if I wasn't already up to my eyeballs in x39 S&B from years ago.
