7.62x39 hunting ammo

Serbian rifle shooting Serbian ammo. Unfortunately they don't like each other as much as I'd hoped.

Holy cow thats a shooter, SuperCub!!!

Mark, those look like great 100 meterish hunting loads eh! happy you got some good ammo...and good brass!

Really interested in how hunting goes with any of the loads mentioned here....and thinking about trying a 110gr CX or 110-120gr TTSX with the 7.62x39

I'm thinking of trying some of the 110gr TacTx for the 300 blackout since the 123gr TSX are unobtainable right now. Hopefully the .308 dia shoot accurately enough.

I hope so too!

That bullet took a very big doe from a 300 BLK I sold a good friend, but it was a headshot so we can't say tooo much about effectiveness other than it did a number haha.

Would be a peach in the 7.62x39mm I bet even if it needed single loading. Thinkin about jumping in with 110 vmax data.

I'm quite happy with that rifle. I kinda bought it on a whim and am surprised at how much I like it.

I plan on letting the grandsons using it as well.

I've fired almost every commercial load I could get my hands on but what works best out of my Howa gives the same result out of my brother's CZ. I'm pushing either Hornady SST's or Z-Max on top of 25.5 gr. of Reloader 7, the load shoots 1" or less 5 rnd. groups at 100 yds. I nailed a nice 6 pt. buck with that round about 3 yrs. back.
