7.62x39 in a beowulf mag?

Was just thinking a bit after installing my mag well adapter in my vz58 chambered in 7.62x39. Will the 7.62 round fit in a Beowulf mag and if so how many. I know the 7.62 shell is slightly larger in dia. than the 5.56 round but just wondering if anyone has tried it.
 
Well you can stick them in the mag but I doubt it would feed worth a damn, the cases are a lot more angled and end up with the bullet facing downward in the mag.
 
Even if you can, the feed lips are different on a 7.62 mag, so likely won't work so well, though I must say that before I got my hands on some 7.62x39 mags for my 7.62x39 AR, I used p mags and 3 rounds would fit and work ok

I would just stick to xcr pistol mags
