without the steel core perhaps?
If they are just the same as the regular stuff, but without the steel core, would that mean they could be used at indoor ranges? If it were a range that allowed fmj, centrefire, those should just about be perfect.
They are indoor practice rounds. I have some here. They use a ~40gr hollow bullet, as it hollow, like and empty pop can.
They do not cycle.

the jacket is steel.
no steel in the core... just lead... steel's on the outside and lead is on the inside.
So this ammo essentially turns the SKS into a straight-pull bolt-action?
Most is bimetal with copper on the outside. The steel is very soft, nothing to worry about.can't be good for the rifling...
