Little confused on the translation, what bullet type are these? Simple HP or some weird thing.

Looks like indoor training ammo.....I've seen western european stuff like this but with plastic or even wood bullets.

Much reduced penetration, but still dangerous.

If they are just the same as the regular stuff, but without the steel core, would that mean they could be used at indoor ranges? If it were a range that allowed fmj, centrefire, those should just about be perfect.

no steel in the core... just lead... steel's on the outside and lead is on the inside.

without the lead core you would have a much lighter steel projectile that can still make sparks... if your range has a lead ban then these would be perfect, if it has a "steel core" AKA FMJ ban then im sure ya can figure it out.

since the bullet is so light, does it mean that the velocity is up? or have the loads also been reduced?

my czech surplus ammo has steel jacket and core. (there is a little soft lead in between)

i think its in there to increase the length of the projectile so they will tumble more easily inside a body, but it also serves well if you need to shoot right through a 16 inch poplar tree, and through a few trees after that...

Yes, it would.

I've seen a similar thing in a youtube vid, where they had a suppressed M14 with subsonic ammunition. Basically, it was dead quiet, but with the standard M14 springs, there wasn't enough energy to cycle the action.

Most is bimetal with copper on the outside. The steel is very soft, nothing to worry about.
