Whats the difference between Russian, Romanian, Czech or Chinese?
I don't know that, but for the rusty nail test I took apart one round of American Eagle 7.62x39 to use as the known non-corrosive control of the experiment. The American Eagle bullet has a flat base whereas the Chinese non-corrosive ones have boat tails. Just thought it was interesting.

Also Chinese ammo on Special at $325 , Reg $375.
I do not sale Chinese ammo, if you do not care . Your choice not mine.
As far as non-corrosive ... not that my opinion counts.........
Surplus ammunition by definition is corrosive. At least in 7.62x39 and before 1996. It is army surplus, nobody cares if it will harm nature....
Again my personal opinion not my company. Nothing against Lever Arms or Chinese ammo.
P.S.
Please do not compare to Romanian or Chinese only Russian.

I hear you. That was my opinion as well. At least before I tested it out myself. The Chinese crate came with absolutely no indications anywhere in its packaging that it was non-corrosive. I was very sceptical about the Lever Arms claim. So I tested it out. It's been 2 weeks that those nails have been sitting on top of my dryer in the laundry room (for temperature and humidity) coated in fired primer residue and there is no sign of rust on them. After 48 hours of no signs, I thought that I might have picked some nails with some kind of special anti-rust coating. So I grabbed another nail from the same box and dipped it in salt water. This one did rust. I'm happy and confident to conclude that it is indeed non-corrosive.

Here's the test video where I got the idea from:

Anyone care to comment on Russian vs Romanian vs Czech vs Chinese? Or Bulgarian, or whichever? I've shot quite a bit and no complaints with any, is one worth more thane the next?

Hmmmmm

Well I have seen it for 260ish at Sail and around the same price at Williams Arms.

Chinese, Romanian, Polish, Czech, Russian, all the same to my rifles and they don't care where it comes from so long as it works and it does.

Wow, I've never seen a vendor on his own forum get slammed like this.
Don't like the price, move on. That's what I'm doin.

Markets need feedback ... if other vendors start charging the same prices, we'll see how much ammo moves. This is a complicated subject, maybe move it to another thread instead of a dealer forum, but the feedback stands .. given market conditions for all vendors.

Why would Russian ammo ever be priced in us dollers Russians hate Americans and would rather not trade with them surplus ammo has not gone up just retailers profits are. They use use it as an excuse. Prices in Canada have never being good but now there just horrible.
