7.62x39 sp ammo

About 6 years ago when I had a sks-d I went out to my buddies farm who just butchered a couple cows. Anyways we took the cow heads out to his little gravel/sand pit. We shot the cow heads with norinco FMJ (the silver box stuff) Rounds came out the other side of the skull and stopped in the sand behind the heads. We recovered the bullets and they were roughly the size of quarters in diameter. They actually expanded to our surprise. Sadly I don't have any of that ammo anymore or the sks-d.

I still have about 800 rds of it and am jealously holding on to it for use in my Rem 799, and JW103. Great ammo for shooting, working up hunting loads, etc. I have several crates of CZ stuff to use in my SKS's when I want to plink.
