I don't think its too much to be asked adhere to the rules and regulations the CFO has placed on your local range. Especially when it is that or range closure.
I don't necessarily disagree with you on the broader principles of keeping a range open.....but as I wrote earlier, it's death from a thousand cuts. We all know how hostile CFO's can be.
If you do nothing about some of these questionable rules (backed by highly debatable "science") , they'll regulate you (us) out of existence.
So, in the meantime, we have to shoot $1.50-$2 per round match ammo or $1/round soft point to shoot at a designated range(because we can't use fmj's). Anything else will get you or your range banned. Another back door attack on the shooting sports.
