7.62x39 upper for ar?

Maybe if it were longer than 7" and a lot cheaper! A $2K upper is kinda expensive to be cramming corrosive surplus ammo though.

Armalite and DPMS also produce 7.62x39 upper receiver groups. I've heard Sabre Defense has one as well.

I'd stick with a piston upper for x39 surp shooting. DI and corrosive primers = bad day of cleaning.
