7.62x39 wheres the cheap ammo at?

I work in firearms retail, the information is based on a booking order we submitted to one of our suppliers who had a listing for it.
That's great. Are you able to estimate when they will become available in Canadian markets? As of today, it does not seem they exist anywhere in the country, not counting personal possessions.

I'm afraid I don't know any more than it will be sometime in the new year. From what I have to go on somewhere in the first quarter with any luck.

It's still available at Canada Ammo as of today

It is, for $350. I think the OP is remembering when it was frequently on sale and for $100 less, etc. Everything has gone up, not much you can do.

Exactly. I also remember a gallon of gas at 70 cents or so. But so what? We have 2017 today and in a week from now we will have 2018. Let's get back to reality. By the way, $350 for 1000 of non-corrosive 7.62x39mm is STILL a very good price.

Here's the thing, nothing is going to get cheaper. If I knew back in the days when gas was $0.32/L, what I know now, i certainly would have stacked the ammo to the ceiling. Would have bought crates of milsurps too.

Last time I was in McDonald's, the prices all went up as the Minimum wage is jumping a few bucks on Jan 1st... have to pay for it somehow.

Start shooting another rifle caliber and see that it's still a good deal compared to most others.

I have not seen many reviews on The Canada Ammo loaded non corrosive. I wonder How good they are.

There have been a few threads on that particular Dominion ammo from Canada Ammo. It's definitely non-corrosive ammo. To the best of my knowledge nobody has ever complained about it being corrosive. Regarding other characteristics, well, it's same ammo like any other Chinese 7.62x39mm surplus ammo. No better, no worse. Obviously, it's about 10c more expensive per round than corrosive 7.62x39mm. But that's what it is. Like everyone else says, it's not gonna get cheaper in 2018.
In general, I personally like shooting Chinese surplus ammo. Never had any reliability problems with it. Corrosive or non-corrosive, same thing.

thanks for all the replys, i should of specified, that usually corroisve ammo, has steel inside, and ranges just say, no corrosive (implying no steel ammo)
