7,62x39 who has the best deals now

Does not justify it.

From 225 to 235, then 235-245 and now 255-275
All from the same stock, I get supply and demand but damn!![/QUOTE
I have 2.5 crates of stripper clip x39 for $200 each from previous buys, so they can keep those, I want bulk cheap x39! If you have 100 stripper clips, I think that would do you for a long time even 50 unless you go through more than a couple hundred rounds at a time! Even then they can be loaded by hand pretty quick!

that plant is gone

It still exists and produces. However, I think it's impossible to import from it.

Like artillery barrage gone or they packed up and moved to Sao Paulo gone?

It didn't get destroyed. It didn't move. Since owners ran away as well as top management, the new local government took over after a year. Now it produces ammo for the new local army, which has high demands due to ongoing war.

Like gas stations? Anyhoo, checking around last night, prices per round ranged from a low of 17.2 cents to a high of 20.5 for corrosive surplus in boxes. Case sizes varied from 1200 to 1400 per. On stripper clips up to 28 cents per. The only non-corrosive I found was high dollar Hornady and the like. Barnaul is in between. Reality bites!

Yes, like gas stations. Atleast gas prices roughly follow oil prices (oil crashed, so did gas prices).. Where as ammo prices tend to stay up once up, like .22 during the hoarding/shortage.. What I used to be able to buy for $18 is now $35.

I get it that retailers need money to buy new stock, but it doesn't make it sting any less.

I have always ordered crates from the sponsors on this site, now their prices are the same as my lgs/CTC so I just have to pick a crate up when I need from them,, there is no longer any savings on line with regard to surplus ammo!

Canadian Tire here in town bought two green cases for $399.00, best deal I have seen in a while
