Or just the current shipment.. More keeps coming in and they're still unloading it as fast as they can.. The ComBlock has more than enough to give us cheep "food" for at least another decade.. You can buy a case in India for $20ish so you can go hunting with your AK
 
This "shortage" cycle has happened 2 or 3 times with the 7.62x39 in recent years.

No doubt more will come in. However, the adage "buy it cheap and stack it deep" still applies as one day it will truly dry up.

By that time, those of us who shoot a lot will have lots of cheap poodle-shooter surplus and the cycle continues
 
i didn't want to say the " shortage " word, and cause the sky to fall ... haha

it has to be a small gap between shipments
i was gonna treat myself to another case of romanian for xmas, since my cz does well with it

its worth the wait
 
I have 2 vz rifles and planning on an SKS... zero ammo :( I have 556 though, about 2000 rounds of norinco non-corrosive, anyone interested in trading? round for round.

Lebaron in Markham has the Romanian as well for around $205 for 1320. They still have at least a skids worth. Best deal I've seen on surplus in the last year and a half

That's great, but I can't find it anywhere on their website. They have the worst website since CanadaAmmo's old site (sorry guys you know it's true).

There are more middlemen in our case. They're right next to the comblock, so they've got easy direct access to surplus. Ours has to go through a few channels, so it's a more involved process.. Plus it costs more to run a retail biz here
 
i was up in sudbury and picked up a case of romanian at ramakko's for 230 bucks
was out xmas shoppin and just had to stop in ... feel much better now, i was down to my last 60 rounds of 7.62 ( that was depressing, didn't even feel like going to the pit for some target practice with such a piddly amount )

20 bucks a case? by jeez if it were that cheep, i'd have to convert the sks to belt feed.. and make target shootin my new religion ... amen hahaaa
