i just purchased a sks and ammo was wonder if this brass can be reloaded with lead tip bullets for hunting gophers and coyotes

i just purchased a sks and ammo was wonder if this brass can be reloaded with lead tip bullets for hunting gophers and coyotes

Hornady makes a 123 gr. lead tipped soft point hunting bullet for reloading in the 7.62 x 39. However if I was going for gophers and varmints in general I would go with their 123 gr. Vmax bullet. It is very accurate and would be more appropriate I would think for what you want. I reload for a number of rifles in that calibre and have had excellent results with it.
