What are you guys paying for the crates of 7.62x39MM surplus ammo? Ive seen prices range from $199.95 to $275 for the 1120 round crates. Anybody seen cheaper?

Well I found some at a gun shop about a half hour away from me for $199.95 so that's probably the best route to take.

Starting 25 March I'm driving from Vancouver to Petawawa, ONT. I need 7.62x 39 so bad it hurts. Anyone know how much Wholesale sports Calgary/winnipeg had?

I don't want to get there and find them sold out. At $200 per crate I'd probably buy 4 or more.

Anywhere else, In Vancouver or surrounding area that had some would be appreciated too.

Failing that, any at that price near Petawawa?

which highway are you taking?

if you're taking the trans can, a stop at wolverines in virden would be a good stop, they've got an interesting shop, and the scenery down in the valley is nice.

but you may want to call first and confirm stock levels.

Mostly on the TransCan. Stops so far are;

Wholesale sports Calgary,
Wolverine supplies,
Wholesale sports Winnipeg

This is my pilgrimage. All good gun stores, that are not TOO far out of the way.. I have 9 days to drive...

Any other suggestions for stops would be appreciated.

It is the same thing really give or take a few bucks.... 219 plus taxes here comes to 246$ Or can order online for 199$ plus taxes and shipping= 250+

So you may as well support the small guy in town i feel.

Good luck, it was pulled from commercial sale. It'll probably show up at gunshows for grossly inflated prices.
