Starting 25 March I'm driving from Vancouver to Petawawa, ONT. I need 7.62x 39 so bad it hurts. Anyone know how much Wholesale sports Calgary/winnipeg had?

I don't want to get there and find them sold out. At $200 per crate I'd probably buy 4 or more.

Anywhere else, In Vancouver or surrounding area that had some would be appreciated too.

Failing that, any at that price near Petawawa?

Calgary WSS had approx 60-70 crates on the main floor on the weekend. I went in and bought a couple @ 199 + tax/crate. Not too sure if they had anymore in the back.

Locally in Brandon, MB it is going for less than $185 at Home Hardware. A tad more at Wolverine Supply in Virden, MB.

$300 a case here in the shop in Fredericton including tax. A little too rich for my blood , try to support the local shop but at those prices it's hard to do.

Marstar has the czech 7.62x39mm ammo at 195 per case, and I have found them to be very reliable

Are you sure it's BRNO? The Czech surplus is usually S & B.

Good price. I paid $225 plus tax in Maple Ridge yesterday. Merritt is a 4 hour round trip for me over the Coquihalla (without the snow) so I would have saved nothing.

Corrosive or non-corrosive??

How does one tell if the ammo is corrosive or non-corrosive? The modern produced stuff is obvious, but with the Czech ammo, they surely made the switch from corrosive to non at some point or year? Does anyone know when that happened?
