Can anyone comment on the quality of this surplus ammo compared to current production Federal Lake City 7.62? The prices appear similar.

Here's how my morning went. Over and over. PGW Coyote.
Failure to fire: 100%
Failure to eject: 40%
When trying to "trick" my rifle, still fail to fire of 100%, except for the random round.
Successful firing of Nosler match, and the other two brands I tried, 100%.
And I forgot my M1A Supermatch, so will have to wait a week to try it. Otherwise I'm out of rifles. The photos are of two separate 5 round groups in case that isn't obvious. Click click, indeed.
Othoboy that is quite a surprising resultWere the rounds hard to chamber?
This ammo is not to be use in a match chamber rifle, in my Nemesis, i had 3 light strikes ( no ignition and all 5 rounds i tried had difficult extraction), this ammo will be kept for my AR-10's/FNAR/NM M1A, were it is perfect in it's intended usage... JP.
will be interesting to hear your results shooting it in a match chambered NM M1A, I would think if it's giving guys trouble in match grade bolt guns , it will be equally problematic in tight chambered M14/M1A rifles.
Nope. The rounds chamber just fine. I even hand fed some just for the heck of it, rather than the magazine. Same result.
One target, 18 shots at 200 yards using HP74 with a NM M1A scoped with a Burris 3X9X40 mounted on a CASM...
From the sand bags, pretty good stuff if you ask me... JP.
