Is there any possibility of any milsurp 7.62x54R coming in any time in the next few months? I am going for my PAL soon, and I really want to get a M91/30, but not at $1+ per shot!

762x54

I WAS JUST IN AL SIMMONS THE OTHER DAY AND THEY HAD SOME IN STOCK . I HAD A RIFLE IN THAT CALIBER AND IF I HAD KEPT IT I WAS GOING TO GET DIES AND HANDG ON TO MY BRASS . YOU SHOULD IF YOUR GOING TO KEEP IT . AL HAS BOXER PRIMED YUGO STUFF IN STOCK . $18 BUCKS A BOX OR SO . :bangHead:

I have about 150 round of 147gr ball in chargers and 60 rounds of reloaded hunting ammo, by someone else. 7.72x54r is offered at $1.00 per round at the local Vancouver gun show. I am looking for 7.5x55mm Swiss, black powder moulds in .45 cal. I am open to trades or offers.

Reload. 54russ was my first caliber, and so I bought a lee loader for 24 bucks and started loading graf (mexican) brass from ellwood epps.

I pay about 35-40 cents per, with powder, primer and jacketed bullets. Less with cast.

I thought that Graf brass in 7.62x54R was made by Privi Partizan from Serbia. I know a couple years ago it was made by Privi and stamped Graff because I spoke to them about it. The stuff they now sell is stamped Privi.

Maybe.

I do know the bags I bought last spring from ellwood epps were headstamped "Graf", and was labeled, "Manufactured in Mexico", or something to that effect. At about a third the price of Lapua, and as long lasting as it's been, I could care less if it's made by a joint venture between the Taliban and Neo-Nazis from west texas.

Interesting, they have obviously sourced from different suppliers over the years. Good to hear that it is lasting a long time. When did you get the brass?
