It's only 15 in a box, not 20, so $6.95 plus 12 % for 15.

do you know if a svt40 can run brass cases or does one have to run surplus steel case? I am thinking to handload for svt40 for better performance.

It will take brass cases just fine but then, because the chamber neck is fluted, it will deform the brass. Interesting old thread!

Hi,

Does anyone know where i can buy 7.62x54R ammunition?
i was told at the shooting range that i'm not allowed to shoot steel core bullets.

I live in the Montreal area

Which range is that? I regularly shoot 7.62x39 FMJ at Ruisseau noir, but I shoot lead core in my Mosin there. I have been told many strange thing there about what you can/cannot shoot but it depends who is RO.

the last batch i bought was from Marstar - soft points and not steel core. Another source of bulk is SFRC in cases. Good pricing and great service.
