7.62x54r.net and Mosinnagant.net both gone

Both sites hadn't been updated in years but I find their disappearance unsettling.

Website names "Domains" are basically rented. Whomever was paying for the domain either didn't or forgot to on time. In alot of cases if you miss a payment by any amount of time the domain instantly becomes available to other purchasers.

Tuco recently died and Vic more or less lost interest after they sold Gunboards to a private company. So the sites are probably gone for good.

That sucks. 7.62x54r.com was a wealth of information for me when I first started collecting…..
