7.62x54R surplus 880rd

I don't like mfs mainly because it's more expensive, and is non-reloadable. The obvious benefit is that it's non-corrosive. But, for me, I will spend a little more and buy reloadable ammunition from now on. OR cheaper crates-o-surplus. I am pretty interested in seeing how it shoots though.
 
New to the Forum

I live in Perth Ontario about an hour south away from Ottawa and I am looking for some 7.62 x 54R ammo. Is there anywhere close that sells the cartridges. Don't want to buy alot until I see how well the rifle works.
 
gunco in Ottawa can bring in anything from marstar and you dont pay shipping. I'm in Carleton Place give me a PM I have about 1000 rounds if you just wanting to buy 20 or so I can spare some.
 
Hey Perth eh? I was over to "SFRC" last Monday and they have it all. Their advertisement is at the top of this page. They are 1/2 hour from my residence in Westport so about forty-five minutes for you. Colebrook Road, Harrowsmith. Call them! They had SKS's and Mosins and much ammo. Don't drive in all of that traffic going in to Ottawa. Dave

It's only about a half hour drive from here in Carleton Place, so less than 45 mins from Perth.
