Hi all. so I took the plunge, am now going to load shotgun. I've been loading rifle and pistol for years.
I get that one should find the best one piece hulls and the right powder/wad/ load combination etc. But this is what I have (and would like to see what I could make with it).
Challenger high velocity low brass shells
WAA 12SL wads
both lee 7/8 ounce drive key slugs, and lee 00 buckshot
cheddite 209 primers
lonsgshot and titegroup powders.
I have the lyman 5th edition shot shell reloading book, but can't find a load with these components. I now understand that long shot is designed for heavier loads, but I have a lot of it, so id like to find a load that works for both loadings. would it be correct to assume that a load for 7/8 ounce of shot would be ok for a 7/8 slug?
Any help as to a powder load for my situation would be appreciated. and yes I accept full responsibility for what I stick in my gun etc.
thanks
