7.92x33mm/8mm Kurz Lothar Walther Barrel

Good day gentlemen.

Does anyone here know if there is a Canadian Company that imports Lothar Walther barrels into Canada?

I’m looking at getting an 8x33 (7.92x33) aka: 8mm Kurz barrel and mocking up a K98k in that calibre as I have lots of ammo and reloading components for that calibre already.

I have thought about it before.
I think AK mags will feed 8x33 if it does you could weld an AK mag into the old mag well on the Mauser. if not a mp44 mag but expensive and rare

I’ve got many StG44 mags. I would probably use a cut down 10 rounder if I can’t get the original k98 magazine to feed well. I’m sure I could figure out a mag block like the Israeli .308 conversions use to feed 8x33 correctly?

that will work too.
didn't the Israeli border guards have Mausers with mg15 mags welded to them for 8x57 I think I seen something like that for sale years ago on collector source. would be cool to do that with 8x33

Yes. I remember that one on CS. I had an MG13 Mag that worked in my G43 too.

Also the option for the Gewehr98 repro trench mags.

Still need to figure out if I can get this barrel in Canada.

Wasn't there a post recently that we can now get barrels from the US?
If that doesn't work, Unmentionable Armory could get one in for you.
They got some barrel liners for me.
