7 bean salad for my 9mm

www.lasc.us/fryxelllubecastbullets.htm. You should use YOUR extra time in reading and knowing the functions of a lubricant ... just a word of advice ...

regardless of how traditional lube works, powder coating effectively turns it into a plated bullet which doesn't require lube. there is tons of evidence on cast boolits that proves this is a method that works great. the biggest problem is choosing how you want to apply the powder coating.

And the point of this would be .....?

If those involved with this ludicrous activity have SO MUCH TIME TO WASTE ... why don't they "donate" at least SOME of it to providing a USEFUL VOLUNTEER PUBLIC SERVICE?
You sure are bent out of shape over nothing. Where do you get off telling people how to spend their time? I personally have been a volunteer firefighter for years, and am also interested in this method of coating cast bullets. No-one is insisting that you do it yourself.

Cant think of a better use of your time, you volunteer to do what I get paid to do hats off to vollys

this is the worst idea ever.

I'm with Spawn - please elaborate.

All I know about this is what I've read. On the side that believes in the process and has tried it out, there is lots of data and case study to support result. on the negative side, all ive seen is generic and useless opinion like " this is the worst idea ever" and my personal favourite "your time would be better used volunteering". Give an opinion with some substance.

Has anyone tried these with a "do not use cast lead" glock barrel? Looks like it should perform similar to plated bullets

yes, though i put lead through glock un powder coated as well. i've had some lead build up the odd time but a quick bore snake and it's gone.

Powder coating is a very useful alternative to conventional lubricants on cast bullets...
