7 mm Mauser stripper clips

Is probable that besides cartridge, that you will also want to specify the rifle - for example, 30-06 is same base (case head) as 8x57JS or 7x57 - but the stripper clips for different rifles likely going to be different. For example, a stripper clip made for 1903 Springfield for 30-06 cartridge, likely not going to fit well to a German made k98K, even though the "case head" will be the same size.
Some were made of brass, some were made of steel - either "in the white" or blued. Some have one "nub" on the side - some have "three" nubs, and so on. Has been my practice to get the stripper clip to fit the rifle - then find the correct size for the cartridge of interest. Was at least one Mauser rifle here that a former owner had filed out the stripper clip notch on that rifle - no doubt to be able to use Swedish stripper clips for 6.5x55, which were a different size. Back in the day, I believe specific stripper clips were made for use in specific military rifles - so can find some 7x57 made in Spain, or Germany, or Portugal, or Brazil - I believe most countries that used 7x57 cartridge also made the stripper clips for their rifles - no doubt some might swap to another?

He has a Brazilian Mod 1935 chambered for the 7x57, which as mentioned, the issue 8x57 chargers work fine with.
Any of the 7.62 Nato chargers I have are slightly too large for the guides on most 98 type Mausers, including the 1935

I have a 1908 Brazilian in 7x57 and Swedish Mauser clips work in it, and I've heard, but haven't tried it, that the Swedish clips will work in a 1903 Springfield.
K98 clips won't work in my 1908, they're slightly too narrow and slip through the guide.
So the best course of action is to get a couple of samples and try them before you stock up on a large quantity.

There is 3 main types of Mauser stripper clip.
Bumpless, these were mainly used on the 1889 Belgian, 1890 Turkish and 1891 Argentine rifles (some like the 1909 Argentine rifles also used them because the Argentines requested it).
Two bump, these were found with the 1893 Spanish Mausers and the other intermediate variants. The Swedish stripper clips fall into this category but they are slightly different than a standard two bump stripper clip as they had to accommodate the larger rim size of the 6.5x55 Swedish cartridge. The Swedish clips also work really well with the Arisaka rifles. Swedish sized clips may or may not work with standard two bump clip rifles, depending on the clip and specific rifle.
Three bump, these were found on most M98 rifle designs unless the rifle was intended to work with the previous version of stripper clip for simplicity of logistics (such as the 1909 Argentine, or 1908 Brazilian rifles).
I am unsure which exact clip your 1935 rifle would take, it would either be the three bump or the two bump clips. Sounds like the two bump style from what you have written.
