7 mm rem mag deer load

66gr N165/Fed mag primer/Fed brass/140gr Hornady SP under 1/2"groups at 100 yards haven't chronied it yet but shot deer with it.Bang flops.

150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip over 71 grains of IMR7828 kills most any thin skinned game like lightening...Shoots mighty flat too at 3250fps out my
24 inch barrel.

realistically, whatever load shoots accurately in your rifle . The 7 mag has lots of oomph for white tail so the only real question is the performance of the bullet on impact, not what's pushing it out the barrel. From experience I would stay away from Nosler Ballistic tips. They tend to explode at typical 7 mag velocity . I've gone to Barnes TTSX and I imagine the Partition bullets would be good as well. 7RM is fast and will do a lot of meat damage so try to watch your bullet placement. Good hunting.

This. I usually stick to 160 gr bullets in the 7 mags i load for, both because they tend to like them, and the heavier bullets hold together a little better. Deer don't take a lot of bullet, but having one that holds up at 7 RM speeds or similar is important. - dan

Double this. Deer with a 7rm will be killed fast with nearly any load/bullet combo. Wrong bullet, slightly off shot, blood shot will be your meal.
