I just went out on a limb and bought a rifle of this chambering, an Elwood Epps Mauser conversion, now I need to feed it. Can anyone direct me to a source for dies, brass or commercial ammo if such exists? Will it digest standard 7 x 57....I expect not? Any advice will be appreciated.

Prophet River has 7x57 brass.

As for dies try Mystic Precision. I've bought a few sets of Redding AI dies from him and he can deliver them pretty quick.

I have a 7x57AI on a Remington m721. I took a new take-off 7mm08 barrel and had my smith re-chamber and fit. 7x57AI brass is not available as far as I know but you can safely fire regular 7x57 rounds in your rifle that will fire-form to the AI dimensions. Then you need to find a set of dies. Mine are RCBS, labelled 7mmx57 40d, ie. the standard 40 degree AI shoulder config. Product #56244. The bad news is that they cost me $185. Maybe someone on the exchange can help.....

fire some stiff or factory 7x57 loads and then neck size them (hornady 7mm neck die will work for this)...this will get you along for now. Eventually you will need to bump the shoulder back with a FL die. you can also check CH4D for the FL die on its own....also find some oddball dies for fairly cheap on ebay.
