7 x 61 super

Hello fellow reloaders.

Does anyone have any experience in reloading this calibre with the newer powders and bullets?

Hornady and Sierra both have plenty of loads for the 7x61 S&H (7x61 Super)

 

[Why not?]

My 7X61 is a Schultz and Larsen, and I have shot mostly the 160 bullet. The quickest way to a starting load with any bullet weight is to use 90% of the starting load for the 7mm Rem Mag. That will get you on the way.

It's just plain vanilla standard loading techniques and safety from that point on.
