I have a long action 700 BDL with a removeable clip, I would like to buy a new stock for the action will a standard floor plate stock work with the removeable clip?

Well I was charging $100.00 to inlet the clip if it was a Remington clip and $50.00 if it was a Trexler as it takes someone with experience 2 to 3 hours to do, so that should give you some idea as to the complexity of the job. It is certainly possible to do but take your time and don’t rush the job. Although not particularly hard to do it is quite simple to make it look like a mad man with a chain saw went at it. Rod
