Ive found one in left hand which is important.....looking for something light enough for hunting but also like my guns accurate. From what Ive read its like a 700p- any opinions folks?

Its a 700. Half minute potential with handloads just like any other proven factory rifle. Lots of options for triggers, stocks, DBM's, etc. if you so desire. Not much else to say.

The 700 LTR is a model in their police line. Major difference being the 20 inch barrel with fluting vs the regular 700p with 26 inch heavy barrel.
I personally got one for hunting in .308 and it has done really well at the range (havnt had a chance to go out with it yet). Would recommend it if your looking for field use.

I had one years ago and it had quite a few .4 groups with fgmm 168g. Was nice for hunting and some long range target stuff. If your a lefty and you found one, and like the feel you won't be disappointed.

how you guys like the stock on it? I read its a much trimmer version of the 700P H+s precision stock but some people dont like the shorter forend.

Have a 700 and like it. Also like tikka and savage but the nice part a out the rem 700 is that the aftermarket support is huge. Almost anything u need or want u can find a manufacturer for them
