700 LTR or 700P LTR?

Hi guys,

the remington website keeps advertising their 700P LTR, but on the actual gun it stamps, and i believe, "Remington Model 700 LTR".

So, does LTR automatically means it's a 700P shorty? I am a bit uneasy as they miss out the 'P' on the rifle, or the "Remington Model 700 LTR" is not the same thing as 700P LTR?

They are both ''Police'' models but one is the light tactical one. That simple!

I don't recall knowing it as the 700P LTR..Just 700 LTR.

and for what it's worth, my 700P was stamped "Model 700". No mention of Police anywhere on it.

"P" just means dark finish and HS stock, not any different than any other M700 mechanically.

I kinda like the 700 Sendero better the P now, just more for your $$..
For the tacticool guys, just paint it & It'll still be better than the P.

I've had both and neither gun had 700P or 700LTR stamped on the action. They just said Remington Model 700.
