700 mag conversion

is there a way to conver a BDL to a detatchable mag that uses factory magazines

i found this kit at cabelas site but the mags it has do not arrper to be factory mags

i am looking at a rifle for sale on the boards the will fit all of my needs except it is a Hinged floor plate does any one know if this kit is worth buying or if it is worth converting a hinged floor plate to detachable box mags the modle i am buying is a BDL SS in 300 win mag

See V Bull, give ED BEGG on this site a message, I believe they're still producing M700 short action bottom metal kits to use AICS mags (5 and 10 rounds). Top notch stuff.

thing is it's a win mag not winchester short magnum a short action kit is no good because the action it uses is the long action i will look thought

Looks like you should be looking for a Rem 700 SPS with detachable mag.
Find someone who is willing to swap stocks and floorplate assemblies.

That is the Kwik Klip conversion. Takes about 5 mins. to install, if you do not have to inlet the stock, and it works great. Unfortunatly it uses Kwik Klip mags only. I bought one from a gunshop locally and installed it myself on a 700 SPS 30-06 in about 5 min. Holds 4 rounds of 30-06, 3 rounds of magnum calibres.
