Might be picking one of these up. Who stocks a 30 moa rail that fits the threads on this rifle?
Also does anyone know if the stock will handle a 1.250 - .900 straight taper barrel without modification?

If you are referring to the A-5 then yes..no problem.
I am running 2 with the 5 inchs straight then tapered to .960". IIRC the contour is called heavy varmint. Looks great!

I think the other one I am running is 1.25" for about 3 inches then straight tapered to about an inch.
I believe Krieger calls it an MTU contour.

Is the factory stock called an A-5 ? I thought the A-5 was more of a pistol grip style?

I have a gen2 model, haven't shot it yet. Got a 20MOA rail and TPS rings from AB Tac Rifle, mounted a NF 8-32x56. The only beef I have with it thus far is the magazine fiasco which will hopefully be rectified shortly (or I will swap the stock and metal for an A5 or AICS). I actually bought this gun as a long range hunting rig, rather than as a range/target rifle. Hope to take it out when I am feeling better.
