I just think the 30-06 looked a lot nicer,and what would you do with a 700.BUT if they were to give me one, I would take the double.

Bet it would be fun to get fingers on both triggers on the double....:eek:

The shooter does'nt look quite so enthusiastic when he's about to load the double, did you see the look on his face?:p

It's kind of a "We who about to die salute you" look.;) Either that or someone just told him that he was paying for the ammo. That stuff goes for about $500 American per box, and there's only five in a box.:( Maybe its a "My wife is going to kill me" look.:rolleyes:
 
So Dogleg how long until you buy one? :D You are going for cape buffalo this summer. I'll even buy the first box for you as long as I get to shoot 2 rounds. I'd also like to see that thing take out a coyote. It would make skinning it out a little intersting.

I have a better idea. You buy it, shoot the first two rounds then sell the rest of the ammo and the rifle to me cheap.;) I'd prefer the double if that's all right with you. Did you know that you are still the only guy I've been able to talk into shooting the Rigby? Speaking of buffalo. I just got the confirmation this morning that I can do both safaris back to back like I wanted. Life is good!

I think the way it works is you point it at the bear, pull the trigger (S) and the first one to get to his feet is declared the winner.

Oh yes the 30.06 looked nice but the other is a 700!!:rolleyes: What would I do with it? Pretty much shoot anything legeal!:D

Yet I told you I want to shoot the Rigby...I just didn't want to shoot it for the first time looking for mule does...
