I posted a thread awhile ago, wondering if anybody had one of these. The biggest i got was a 400 nitro express i think. If you have one of these beast, post pics please!

A few years ago a fellow pulled up to the range in his Porsche Cayenne and brought out his double rifle in 470NE. He shot off a whole box of twenty, packed up his rifle then left, leaving his brass on the ground. He didn't want it. I managed to get one round, my buddy got the other 19. The guy left the ammo box behind too. Had a price tag of $396.

Well considering when it was first released you buy the ammo direct and loaded ammo goes for about $100 USD EACH... the case has to account for a big chunk of that... now you can get deals on boxes of 5 for $250 USD... so factor $50 USD a piece before import and everything, half that price is probably brass which is the $27.50

R&T Firearms in Warburg Alberta has .700 Nitro Express in stock.$10.00 per case and $5.00 per projectile.

The $27.50 comes directly from Rusty Wood's site. Five for $250 USD is MidwayUSA, Stateside.
R&T Firearms' must be very old stock.
Anybody heard from 89diesel? Hope he didn't have a stroke over the costs.

The price didnt scare me too much. I'd found a few stateside priced at $70-$92/case and $105-$155/loaded round, but no shipping either over the border.
